The roots of our design group were planted in 1952 when Rudolph N. Rohn immigrated to the United States from Germany. Already a well-known artist for many years in Europe, Rudolph decided to continue in America with what he knew best--using his artistic gift in fabricating and executing sacred art. Rudolph N. Rohn Liturgical Art Studios was born.

Over the years, the company grew and evolved, passing presidential leadership to the next generation--Rudolph's eldest son, Rolf R. Rohn.

The Rohn tradition of providing superb expertise in the field of religious design soared to new heights in 1982 with the addition of a second firm to the group. Rolf R. Rohn & Associates was formed, furnishing consultation services on liturgical design, worship environment master planning, and parish educational programs.

Over two generations, Rohn Design Group has participated in hundreds of projects throughout the continental United States, as well as Alaska and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
