Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
Restoration, including Liturgical Furnishings & Stations of the Cross
Washington, PA

Rohn & Associates Design guided the liturgical design and Catholic church renovation of Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Pennsylvania, helping to reestablish the sanctuary as the focal point of the church’s worship while preserving its historic Catholic artwork.

Our scope included designing a custom altar and ambo that anchor the sanctuary, refinishing the Stations of the Cross, and restoring the existing marble reredos and the symbolic imagery on the apse mural behind the crucifix. Together, these elements draw the eye toward the mystery of Christ’s Passion, death, and Eucharistic sacrifice.
