Holy Name Cathedral
Steubenville, OH
The Rohn team developed a comprehensive liturgical master plan for the renovation of Holy Name Cathedral, the central place of worship for the Catholic community in Steubenville. This plan includes thoughtful space formation to enhance the liturgical flow and participation, a carefully designed lighting scheme to highlight sacred art and architectural features, and the design of all liturgical furniture to support worship and sacramental celebrations.

In addition, the project encompasses the restoration and creation of sacred artwork, statuary, stained glass windows, detailed wood carvings, murals, and seating—each element crafted to deepen the spiritual experience and uphold Catholic liturgical traditions.

The renovation remains underway, reflecting a commitment to preserving the historic beauty of Holy Name Cathedral while adapting it to the needs of today’s faithful and diocesan liturgies.
