Divine Mercy Catholic Parish
Blackstone, MA
Rohn Design developed and executed a sacred art program for Divine Mercy Parish in Blackstone, Massachusetts, uniting three parishes into one vibrant community. The centerpiece is a newly completed retablo depicting the Divine Mercy of Christ, flanked by Pope John Paul II and St. Faustina Kowalska, with God the Father above surrounded by angels. Two side shrine murals portray Sts. Zelie and Louis Martin and Sts. Monica and Ambrose, enriching the parish’s spiritual narrative.
Artist Renate Rohn restored the statue of St. Thérèse and the crucifix above the sanctuary, preserving important elements of the parish’s heritage. Large murals illustrating key moments in the life of St. Paul were recently installed, deepening the parish’s faith experience and spiritual renewal.
