Kathleen L. Maglicco
Liturgical Interior Designer

Kathleen L. Maglicco is a Catholic liturgical interior designer with over thirty years of experience specializing in church renovation, restoration, and sanctuary design for Catholic parishes and dioceses. She creates cohesive, worship-centered church interiors that integrate sacred art, liturgical furnishings, historic finish restoration, murals and mosaics, decorative plaster and painting, gold leafing and gilding, liturgical flooring, and sanctuary lighting that support the celebration of the Mass and the sacred character of Catholic worship.

Kathleen leads every project from liturgical design development and finish selection through fabrication and installation, including color and material palettes, wall and ceiling treatments, ornamental finishes, and the integration of sacred art in both new church construction and historic church restoration projects.

Working closely with liturgical designers, pastors, parish building committees, architects, artists, and craftsmen, she helps parishes translate their vision into beautiful, durable, and liturgically appropriate worship spaces that foster reverence, beauty, and participation. Kathleen graduated with honors in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and completed advanced liturgical studies at the Catholic Theological Union’s Institute for Liturgical Consultants in Chicago.
