Saint John Vianney Catholic Church

Houston, TX

Rohn Design developed a cohesive master plan for the renovation of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston, Texas—encompassing the main sanctuary, chapel, and adoration chapel. This Catholic church renovation combined sacred art, architectural refinement, and modern lighting to create a space of prayerful beauty and liturgical function.

The project included sanctuary renovation, new flooring, space formation, custom liturgical furniture, devotional spaces, new statuary, and restoration of existing sacred art. A state-of-the-art lighting system was designed to highlight the altar, Stations of the Cross, and interior finishes while enhancing the experience of worship.

A new crucifix, handcrafted altar of sacrifice, custom furnishings, and a flowing mosaic floor reflect the parish’s spiritual journey. Restored and reimagined Stations of the Cross—cast from original molds and illuminated with precision—anchor the Passion narrative in contemporary sacred art tradition.
