Rohn Design developed and designed a complete interior renovation program for the Mother Church of the Diocese of Orlando.

Our work included liturgical design, sacred and liturgical art, new presbyterium seating, stencil work, liturgical furniture, and appointments. The goal was to restore a sense of sacred beauty to the space while meeting modern liturgical needs.

Highlights include marble furnishings with bas relief carvings of St. James and the Four Evangelists, a dramatic oil-on-canvas Pentecost mural, and a large wood crucifix backed by a hand-painted image of Jerusalem. Renaissance-style murals illustrating the life of St. James further enrich the space, reinforcing the cathedral’s role as a cornerstone of Catholic worship in central Florida.
