Shrine of St. Padre Pio Catholic Church
Liturgical Design & Furnishings
San Antonio, TX

Rohn & Associates Design designed the sanctuary floor plan and new liturgical furnishings at the Shrine of St. Padre Pio in San Antonio, Texas. Thousands of pieces of white Carrara marble were transformed into custom altars, a tabernacle throne, credence tables, a Blessed Sacrament chapel altar, ambo, and reredos.

The furnishings were repurposed from the original altars of the Chapel of the Incarnate Word, generously donated by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. The project brought historic Catholic marble furnishings into a new worship space while preserving their original craftsmanship and liturgical character.
