Custom Liturgical Furnishings & Sanctuary Flooring

Rohn Design completed the custom Catholic liturgical furnishings and coordinated the interior details for this newly constructed church on a tight deadline.

 

Working closely with the pastor, we designed the custom altar, ambo, tabernacle stand, custom baptismal font, ambry, and credence table in red oak with Italian Travertine tops, all featuring 23k gold–gilded carvings of a dogwood floral motif associated with Christ’s crucifixion and echoed in the church’s stained glass.

 

Additional contributions included Catholic sanctuary planning, church flooring design, and an interior color palette to unify the space. Scriptural inscriptions, carved bishop’s arms, and a hidden reliquary within the altar further ground the custom church furnishings in Catholic meaning and tradition.
