Rohn & Associates Design provided preliminary Catholic chapel design services for the new Harvard Chapel at Harvard University in Boston, MA. Collaborating with university leadership, the firm developed an artistic liturgical design vision that integrates sacred art, custom liturgical furnishings, and space planning to create a dedicated environment for worship and reflection.

 

The design emphasizes a connection to Harvard tradition and incorporates rich dark wood paneling, custom Catholic niche murals in deep blue behind the altar, and a central crucifix. The proposed marble church flooring design highlights the crimson Harvard emblem, creating a historical and visually compelling chapel concept meaningful for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
