Rohn & Associates Design provided preliminary liturgical design services for the new Harvard Chapel at Harvard University in Boston, MA. Collaborating with university leadership, the firm developed an artistic liturgical design vision that integrates sacred art, liturgical furnishings, and space planning to create a dedicated environment for worship and reflection.

 

The design emphasizes connection to Harvard tradition and incorporates rich dark wood paneling, deep blue niche murals behind the altar, and a central custom crucifix. The marble flooring highlights the crimson Harvard emblem, creating a historical and visually compelling space that is meaningful for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
