Rohn & Associates provided Catholic university chapel design and liturgical design services for the University of Southern California’s Our Savior Chapel and Caruso Catholic Center, consulting on Catholic sacred art, stained glass, space formation, church lighting, and flooring design.

Working closely with Father Lawrence Seyer and the building committee, liturgical designer Rolf Rohn helped shape the chapel as a center for Catholic campus ministry, student worship, and USC’s Catholic identity. The team developed new marble flooring patterns, custom liturgical furnishings and pews, custom lighting fixtures, and the church lighting plan for the main and adoration chapels.

Exterior designs for a marble tympanum were carefully reviewed with an artist in Florence to confirm that it was aesthetically and spiritually appropriate for the space. Custom Stations of the Cross and a gilded exterior cross donated by Rolf further contribute to the chapel’s Catholic character.

Together, these elements give USC students a dedicated setting for Mass, Eucharistic adoration, prayer, and Catholic campus life.
