Rohn & Associates Design developed and implemented a complete liturgical art and iconography program for the Immaculate Conception Chapel at St. Mary’s Seminary in Cincinnati. This seminary chapel renovation supports the spiritual formation of seminarians through carefully integrated Catholic symbolism and design.

The scope of work included a custom marble altar with reliquary, ambo, Catholic statuary, Catholic stained glass windows depicting saints, custom liturgical furniture, and detailed appointments. A powerful new sanctuary mosaic—depicting the elders worshipping the Lamb of God from the Book of Revelation—serves as the visual centerpiece. Additional liturgical elements such as Eucharistic-themed art glass, updated flooring, and a new chapel lighting system were designed to reinforce the devotional setting.

 

The renewed chapel provides seminarians with a place for daily prayer, Eucharistic devotion, and preparation for the priesthood.
