Rohn & Associates designed St. John Vianney Chapel at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy, providing Catholic seminary chapel design and chapel renovation services for priests participating in sabbatical programs and priestly formation.

The liturgical design included space formation, custom liturgical furnishings, altar, Presider’s and Deacon’s chairs, credence table, custom Catholic sacred art, interior decoration, custom Catholic statues, custom Stations of the Cross, art glass, and a comprehensive church lighting program.

 

Highlights include a custom hand-carved oak statue of Mary, Mother of Priests; a Cosmatesque-style tabernacle inspired by the Church of Santa Sabina and complementary throne; and a gold-leafed mural reproduction of the ancient Mosaic of the Cross, Vine, and Branches. The team also provided church capital campaign support that was instrumental in completing this important project.

The renovated chapel provides priests with a dedicated and welcoming setting for Mass, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
