St. John Vianney Chapel at Pontifical North American College

Rome, Italy

The Rohn team designed the renovated St. John Vianney Chapel at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy, creating a sacred environment that supports priestly formation during sabbaticals.

The design included space formation, altar, appointments, tabernacle and throne, Presider’s and Deacon’s chairs, credence table, interior decoration, mural, statuary, Stations of the Cross, art glass, and a comprehensive lighting program. Highlights feature a hand-carved oak statue of Mary, Mother of Priests, a Cosmatesque-style tabernacle inspired by the Church of Santa Sabina, and a gold-leafed mural reproduction of the ancient Mosaic of the Cross, Vine, and Branches. The team also provided fundraising support that was instrumental in completing this important renovation.
