Sisters of the Holy Spirit Chapel
Restoration, including Liturgical Design, Furnishings & Mosaics
Pittsburgh, PA

Rolf Rohn completed the liturgical design and interior restoration of the Sisters of the Holy Spirit Catholic Chapel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the center of the renovated sanctuary is a Holy Spirit mosaic representing the Spirit of Jesus guiding the Sisters in their mission, flanked by two additional custom Catholic mosaics. Every stone in the mosaics was fired in Rohn’s studio, bringing the imagery of the Holy Spirit and the Sisters’ Catholic devotion into the heart of the chapel. The project also included the restoration of architectural and decorative elements
