St. Francis Motherhouse Chapel
Renovation & Restoration, including Liturgical Design, Furnishings, Statues, Sacred Art & Lighting
Millvale, PA
Rohn & Associates Design completed the complete liturgical design of the interior restoration and renovation of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities Chapel in Millvale, Pennsylvania. At the heart of the transformation is liturgical art: a custom-painted sanctuary apse mural depicting the Life of St. Francis of Assisi, created by our in-house studio team. The design plan also included a restored reredos, new Tabernacle, marble liturgical furnishings, custom statues of the Sacred Heart and St. Francis, and restored Daprato Stations of the Cross. Additional upgrades included new lighting, decorative painting, and stained glass restoration—together creating a harmonious, sacred environment that reflects the Sisters’ mission and Franciscan heritage.
