Rohn & Associates Design developed the liturgical vision and Catholic shrine master plan for a proposed expansion of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin. The Shrine, where Sister Adele Brise experienced an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an important Catholic pilgrimage site for the faithful seeking prayer, renewal, and healing.

The work focused on expanding the Shrine’s facilities and better serving pilgrims while preserving its Catholic history and traditions. The design included a Sister Adele Brise Welcome Center, Apparition Grove, and Catholic chapel, along with liturgical spaces, church acoustics, custom Catholic sacred art, iconography, and symbolic elements reflecting both the universal Church and the unique character of the apparition.

The shrine design was intended to communicate the Blessed Mother’s call to prayer, conversion, and a deeper commitment to the Catholic faith. By connecting the planned spaces into a cohesive pilgrimage experience, the concept sought to help visitors encounter and reflect on the message given to Sister Adele Brise and its continuing importance to the life of the Church.
